Nike Unveils First ‘Hands-Free,’ Slip-on Sneakers, the Nike GO FlyEase

Nike has done it again! Our favorite footwear and apparel brand has launched the first “Hands-Free” slip-on Sneakers called the Nike Go FlyEase and you it is all shades of beautiful .

Nike Go FlyEase

The New Nike Go FlyEase is intuitive — easy on, easy off — and evidence of how design, innovation and engineering can meet to answer an ambitious North Star: the creation of a hands-free shoe. Behind the shoe’s smooth motion is a bi-stable hinge that enables the shoe to be secure in fully open and fully closed states.

The Nike GO FlyEse has a patent-pending bi-stable hinge and midsole tensioner that allow for hands-free entry.

This duality allows another signature detail: the Nike GO FlyEase tensioner. The tensioner’s unique flexibility super-charges an action many might take for granted (kicking-off a shoe) and completely reimagines this movement as basis for accessible and empowering design.

In the Nike GO FlyEase, this translates to serving the broadest range of active lifestyles possible — whether the wearer is champion fencer Bebe Vio, a student racing to class or a parent with their hands full.

According to champion fencer Bebe Vio, “Usually I spend so much time to get in my shoes, but with the Nike GO FlyEase, I just need to put my feet in and jump on it. The shoes are a new kind of technology, not only for adaptive athletes but for everyone’s real life.”

Just like Clubhouse, the latest social media networking space that is invite only, the Nike GO FlyEase is available initially via invite for select Nike Members, with broader consumer availability planned for later this year.

Krafts Mac & Cheese gets a new look

Kraft’s recyclable fiber-based microwaveable cup

Everyone loves Macaroni and Cheese especially when it’s from Kraft! Kraft Mac & Cheese has announced it is developing and testing the brand’s first-ever recyclable fiber-based microwavable cup. Upon testing completion, the brand will launch a new Kraft Mac & Cheese Shapes variety using the new cup and design later in 2021.

The fiber-based microwavable cup being trialed is microwave safe and contains the same Kraft Mac & Cheese. In addition, the innovative cup will eliminate the plastic label through new direct print technology. The intent of the design change from plastic to fiber is to reduce plastic use and to be both recyclable and compostable in industrial composting facilities. Kraft is working with outside partners to certify and incorporate the appropriate recycling labeling to help consumers know exactly what to do with the packaging after they have enjoyed their meal

The new Kraft Mac & Cheese Shapes variety, using the new cup and design currently in development, will be available later this year.

This innovation supports the Kraft Heinz Company’s journey toward responsible, sustainable practices extending to every facet of the business including a commitment that aims to make 100% recyclable, reusable or compostable packaging by 2025.
